How can I keep a spa from getting foamy?

In addition to perspiration and body oils, one source of spa foam is the small amount of leftover detergent in swim suits. The usual solution to the detergent problem in private spas (birthday suits) cannot be applied at a public facility like yours lest you run afoul of public decency laws. Stripped of this option, try using commercially available defoaming agents, sold under names like Foam Out, No Foam, etc., which are chemically engineered to disperse foam, and typically do a dandy job.
